For Workshop Organizers

Call for Workshop Proposal

Workshop proposal themes should be closely related to the SAINT conference themes. An each workshop proposal should clearly indicate its strength and usefulness and how it complements the SAINT conference themes. It is expected that a proposal should provide a better insight into the proposed topics compared to what is covered in the SAINT conference presentations.

Workshop Organizers Responsibility

Workshop organizers should organize their Workshop under the Chairmanship of SAINT Workshop Co-Chairs.  Responsibly of Workshop organizers includes;
- to elaborate a valuable link between Symposium and Workshops. To do this;
- it is requested for Workshop organizers to promote paper submissions to Symposium,
- at least three persons from an each Workshop shall be members of Symposium Technical Program Committee,
   this should be informed no later than November 15 to Workshop Co-Chairs and Program Co-Chairs,
- Symposium session schedule will be organized to cope with such a well organized Workshop, e.g.,
   Symposium and Workshop sessions of the same topic will be held consecutively in the same room.
- to keep Workshop paper quality as high as possible, i.e., an acceptance ratio of less than 60% should be targeted. To do this;
 - an explicit Technical Program Committee for an each Workshop should be organized, and
 - an explicit review process and system should be used.
- to make an each Workshop  internationally, e.g., speakers from more than tree countries are targeted.
