While COMPSAC and SAINT will be co-located, their registration should be done separately. Registration includes Proceedings on USB for the registered conference, Receptions, Banquet, Refreshments, Conference Gift, and all on-site sessions for both COMPSAC and SAINT. Both conferences also sell extra copies of Proceedings on site, while the supply remains.
The SAINT2009 Organizing Committee welcomes you all to Seattle, USA with excellent symposium paper presentations as well as Keynote speeches, Workshops on cutting-edge topics, Panel discussions, all covering a diverse range of applications and their enabling Internet technologies.

THEME : The Pervasive Internet

The Internet has been revolutionizing and changing the way we communicate, access information and conduct businesses. Today, the Internet is evolving into a pervasive and highly distributed ecosystem of connected computers, mobile devices, sensors, home appliances, and a variety of other Internet gadgets. This evolution is leading to deep intertwining of the physical and digital worlds, raising new research agendas and challenging our understanding of the requirements for networked computing and Internet based Service Oriented Architectures. SAINT focuses on emerging research challenges raised by the pervasive Internet, and its future applications and services, as well as their enabling technologies. The symposium provides a forum for researchers and practitioners from the academic, industrial, public and governmental sectors to share their latest innovations on Internet technologies and applications.

WORKSHOPS :

SAINT will feature Workshops to provide forums for researchers and practitioners to share knowledge and exchange ideas on cutting-edge topics in Internet and applications. Papers selected by SAINT Workshops will be published in a separate volume as an integral part of the SAINT proceedings. There is only one registration fee for both the main conference and workshop participants who can attend any conference sessions. The following Workshops are anticipated:

WS-2 The Sixth Workshop for Ubiquitous Networking and Enablers to Context-Aware Services

WS-3 The Second Workshop on ITeS (IT enabled Services)

WS-4 The Third Workshop on Middleware Architecture in the Internet

WS-5 The Third International Workshop on Practical Applications of Sensor Networking

WS-6 The First International Workshop on Concurrent Communication

STUDENT SESSIONS :

SAINT at this time introduces Student Sessions. The Student Session at SAINT 2009 will provide an international forum for graduate students to interact with faculty mentors and other researchers. This specially arranged session is intended for students who have engaged in a research project related to Internet and its application and have produced some preliminary results.
