The panel is to discuss to identify the area of study of ¡®Application and Internet¡¯.  Including its issues, coverage and structure. Then try to understand its direction for future SAINT symposium. 

Items to be discussed on the pane:

      Analysis of the area of ¡®application and the Internet¡¯

      Research issues on the area

      Relationship between research and applications, industries, and society.

      Hybrid aspect of the Internet study and each of the professional applications.

      Structure of the study: basic computer science, protocols, middleware, application.

      Crossover or collaboration with other professional areas.

      Education and human resources.

      Role of the area, identity and direction.

      Message for the future SAINT (area/community)
